Kirill Makarov (b. 1988, St Petersburg) is a visual artist based in St Petersburg. A Stieglitz State Academy of Art graduate, Makarov primarily works with painting and graphics, as well as with installation, AR, and video games. Interested in people’s relationship to their images and the machines producing these images, Makarov explores video games and computer modelling through figurative painting.
